"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

While I will be talking about the hacker in the following paragraph, I choose not to address him directly. It is more of a statement, outlining what I know, and what I see happening.
First off, there is not much I, or any other of Persona's friends can do to correct the current situation. Also, I doubt the admins will do much to help. Although they do have a keen eye for the slightest swear word or tidbit of copywrited music, they often seem to miss crucial happenings such as this.
Next, don't encourage this antisocial criminal by giving him the title of "hacker." Having had an account or two of mine broken into, I almost know for certain that this kid second guessed Persona's password or something of that nature. The average 1337 sp34k3r can't withdraw information from such a secure server as deviantart's. With an online shop alone, a server is automatically granted countless security features that even the finest hackers would have trouble with.
Finally, I would just like to add my sympathy for this loss. I have frequented this gallery for at least a year and have seen some great work. While my hopes are that this kid will be caught and disciplined, I regret in knowing that he has already won. I know that I am no computer genius and that I could be wrong on many fronts, but this is my take on the situation. I pray that it will help reprimand this retarded kid that calls himself a h4x0r.

Stupid Hacker! I was the one who had to break the news to her that the account had been hacked. I felt so bad because YOU ruined everything. Her art is gone, the account is screwed, she can't use her email, and you almost ruined her relationship with her boyfriend. I HATE YOU! You better give her account back... >_<'
It sucks that your stuff was deleted... I actually have a few of your old pics saved on my pc... (I think) I did a clean sweep a while ago so I hope I didn't delete all of them. Stay strong, I know you'll get through this.
